Greetings!

I'm an Assistant Professor in the department of Human-Centered Computing at IUPUI. My research interests are centered on data visualization and human-computer interaction: I design, develop, and evaluate novel visual interfaces to help people see, interact with, and make sense of data.

A paper on the perception of continuous colormaps in quantitative maps will appear at CHI '18.
Our paper on visualizing and untangling the interconnects of supercomputers appeared at IEEE VAST '17.
Our paper on evaluating and modeling the exploratory behavior of visualization users will appear in Information Visualization.
I will be giving an invited talk on visualizing large-scale 'omics data at the EarthCube ECOGEO workshop in Honolulu, Hawaii.
